BCAA 2:1:1 (fermented from Sunflower Lecithin) 3000 mg (L-Leucine 1500 mg, L-Isoleucine 750 mg, L-Valine 750 mg)

BCAAs (branched-chain amino acids) – comprised of L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine – make up about one-third of the protein found in muscle.

When taken in supplement form, BCAAs are rapidly absorbed into muscle tissues, where they protect existing muscle and support new muscle growth. BCAAs are suggested to help by:

  1. Activating signalling enzymes that stimulate IGF-1 growth hormone and increase the rate of protein synthesis;
  2. Stimulating insulin, which enhances uptake of amino acids into muscle tissue cells;
  3. Maintaining workout energy by fuelling cell ATP energy after muscle glycogen stores have been depleted;
  4. Extending muscle endurance during workouts by blocking the brain’s uptake of tryptophan, which converts into fatigue-inducing serotonin;
  5. Preserving muscle tissue while reducing soreness by supplying key amino acid precursors for muscle-building proteins;
  6. Maintaining blood glutamine levels after intense exercise, which in turn helps support healthy immune system function in athletes

Research has also shown that BCAAs’ beneficial activities for muscle appear to reduce training-induced soreness in both women (chart A) and men (chart B):

About Performance Lab® Sport BCAA:

About Performance Lab® Sport BCAA:

Some supplements may use incorrect amino ratios and hard-to-absorb forms that limit BCAAs’ muscle-building potential.

Performance Lab® Sport BCAA presents branched-chain amino acids in a muscle-correct 2:1:1 ratio of L-Leucine to L-Isoleucine and L-Valine.

Our branched-chain amino acids are also naturally fermented from Sunflower Lecithin for easy digestion and high bioavailability, helping to raise BCAA levels in muscle tissue more efficiently than standard BCAA forms.

Make Performance Lab® Sport BCAA your muscle-building foundation supplement for all physical fitness and strength training programs.

Whole-Food Multi

Whole-Food Multi

Performance Lab® Whole Food Multi supplies BioGenesis™ nature-identical vitamin and mineral core essentials that complement BCAAs’ muscle development support, including Vitamin A for protein synthesis; Vitamin D for testosterone and protein synthesis; Vitamin C for collagen support, circulation and muscle-protective antioxidant activity; Zinc for hormone-driven muscle growth; and B-vitamins for cell energy.

Performance Lab® Sport BCAA strengthens these vitamin and mineral muscle essentials with key amino acids for lean muscle.

Together, Performance Lab® Whole Food Multi and Performance Lab® Sport BCAA supply the most important elemental support nutrients for starting any muscle-building fitness regimen

1 Box of Performance Lab® Sport Pre-Workout (120 Capsules)

Performance Lab® Sport BCAA and Performance Lab® Sport Pre both help muscle health and function, but do so via unique biological pathways.

For example, Sport BCAA helps endurance by blocking fatigue-inducing brain chemicals, while Sport Pre-Workout helps endurance by buffering muscles against fatigue-inducing lactic acid.

Sport BCAA and Sport Pre also work well in tandem. Sport Pre promotes growth factors that enhance muscle development, while Sport BCAA increases muscle proteins that are used to build muscle.

Together, Performance Lab® Sport BCAA and Sport Pre combine for better muscle strength and muscle development results than when taken alone.

1 Box of Performance Lab® Sport Post-Workout (120 Capsules)

Performance Lab® Sport BCAA and Performance Lab® Sport Post supply complementary support for lean muscle mass development and muscle recovery.

Sport BCAA helps muscle development by regulating protein synthesis and breakdown; Sport Post helps muscle development with benefits for growth factor, muscle energy and muscle stem cells. Performance Lab® Sport BCAA promotes muscle recovery by restoring exercise-depleted proteins; Sport Post-Workout helps recovery by restoring hydration while countering oxidative stress and inflammation.

Together, Performance Lab® Sport BCAA and Sport Post-Workout combine for better muscle growth and muscle health benefits than when taken alone.

1 Box of Performance Lab® Sport T-Booster (60 Capsules)

For male athletes, Performance Lab® Sport T-Booster’s support for healthy testosterone production provides an excellent complement for Performance Lab® Sport BCAA’s foundational muscle support.

Together, Performance Lab® Sport BCAA and Performance Lab® Sport T-Booster promote robust muscle development across multiple pathways including anabolic hormones, protein synthesis and physical performance.

Who should take Performance Lab® Sport BCAA

Branched-chain amino acids are ideal foundation nutrients for supporting any and all fitness programs, from strength training to endurance athletics.

Performance Lab® Sport BCAA functions as both a pre-workout supplement, powering and extending peak muscle performance; and a post-workout supplement, helping to promote optimal muscle growth and recovery.

With its broad-spectrum support for muscle health, Performance Lab® Sport BCAA should be taken as a starting point for anyone seeking to achieve the best possible results from their health and fitness program.

How do I take Performance Lab® Sport BCAA

For best results take 2-4 capsules 45-60 mins pre-workout and 2-4 capsules immediately post-workout. During especially intense physical training, you may take an additional 2-4 capsules mid-way through your session as an intra-workout supplement.

Is Performance Lab® Sport BCAA safe?

Like all Performance Lab® supplements, Performance Lab® Sport BCAA is designed to be safe for long-term daily use, without the need for cycling. Performance Lab® Sport BCAA achieves this by using pure, potent branched-chain amino acids that are presented in optimal ratios, dosed appropriately and in line with clinical research. Performance Lab® Sport BCAA’s clean formula design – free of GMOs, gluten, soy, colorants, preservatives and other additives – is also well-tolerated by the body; safe and beneficial for long-term use.

Is Performance Lab® Sport BCAA legal?

Yes. Performance Lab® Sport BCAA is a safe, natural and 100% legal way to support. Performance Lab® Sport BCAA is also free of banned substances, and appropriate for use by amateur, collegiate and professional athletes.

Is 2:1:1 the optimum ratio? Some companies sell different ratios such as 4:1:1 and claim they are better.

Any BCAA supplement in any ratio is going to support healthy muscle growth and function. Some manufacturers will load up on L-Leucine – in 4:1:1 ratio or even higher, up to 10:1:1 – because L-Leucine is generally considered the most anabolic of the three.

The concern: As BCAA ratios go up, research and safety data goes down.

The 2:1:1 ratio found in Performance Lab® Sport BCAA is the most evidence-backed form of BCAA available. In addition, Performance Lab® uses a 2:1:1 ratio for balanced delivery of all BCAAs’ diverse muscle benefits, not just the isolated anabolic activity of L-Leucine.
